The people behind A-Part

David Llama

Creative Director

David is a seasoned creative and editor with over 20 years of experience telling stories that engage and make a difference. Growing up in Mexico City, a city of over 24 million people, taught David many things, including how to get along with other people. Perhaps that’s why he loves the collaborative nature of filmmaking. His decades of experience navigating the creative freelance world and the ambiguity that comes with it, has prepared him for life during the COVID-19 pandemic. But, he still misses hugs, making new friends, and partying with friends old and new.

Autumn Lerner

Producer

Autumn is a social impact connector and storyteller. She has worked in over 30 countries, managing international programs and global health and development campaigns. Autumn is driven by the power of cross-cultural collaboration and storytelling to break down barriers. She grew up in the backwoods of Northern California, where people tend to social distance on purpose. And yet she has always been a passionate global citizen, traveling via her atlas until she got her first passport and started bouncing around the world. Needless to say, being grounded due to COVID-19 has been a challenge. During the pandemic, she is sheltering in place in Seattle with her partner and cat until the day she can safely travel again.

Nacho Rettally

Original Score

Nacho considers himself a fortunate human being who gets to do what he loves everyday, that is, creating art. As a Mexican composer and producer, Nacho’s 25-year career has touched all types of musical productions including advertising, television, short films, documentaries, and feature films. He was a founding partner of Equiscosa, one of the most respected music production and audio post-production houses in Mexico. His passion for creation translates to audiences, clients, partners, and university students who he teaches through seminars on technical production, musical creativity, and emotional tools for production. For Nacho, his work is all about emotional connection. Being a connected human means Nacho really misses social interaction, hugs, kisses, and making friends.

Brad Klausen

Graphic Designer

Brad grew up in Southern California and moved to Seattle in 1999 to begin a nine-year career as the in-house graphic designer for the world-famous rock band Pearl Jam. In July 2007, he launched Artillery Design, his one-man design shop where he continues to make posters for Pearl Jam, Built to Spill, Queens of the Stone Age and other bands; many of the posters are included in his collection, From a Basement in Seattle. Thankfully, during the pandemic, Brad no longer lives in a basement. There may be no current need for concert posters due to COVID-19, but Brad is keeping himself busy designing an epic garden at his home in Washington state.

Sam Park

Motion Graphic Design

Sam is a Seattle-based motion designer and general creative who has worked the full pillar of video production for the last 10+1 years. He loves the collaborative nature of production and enjoys filling roles as necessary. In these trying times, hanging onto our helpful nature is a beacon to pull us through each day. Sam is grateful for the comfort he has been able to find through the people and industry he's found himself with.
